Great cafe top quality always worth a trip

Very nice lady at the counter and great products! Unfortunately there are currently no breakfast plates but the bar and the service left nothing to be desired. Highly recommended and very nicely decorated.

We were a group of 12 and signed up. The cafe was as good as empty. Nevertheless, as is customary in a cafe at these high prices (there are homemade and very, very good cakes and a magical atmosphere elsewhere), we were not served at the table, rather it was self-service like in a supermarket cafe. We also had to clear away ourselves. The portafilter machine and brewing piston for fresh filter coffee promised on the website no longer existed. As it turned out, it hasn't been for a long time. So we got coffee from a 08/15 fully automatic tomato. We go to drink coffee all over Germany and also to the most expensive places (from Tegernsee to Sylt) but we've never paid such prices !!!! And the coffee beans from Dienzler, a roastery in Irschberg, can be found in almost every cafe on the edge of the Alps. The milk foam on the hot chocolate from the fully automatic machine was cold. We're definitely not coming anymore.

Was the biggest mess I've seen so far. 14 euros for 2 sandwiches that is a cheek. Before that, the old one asks us where we come from. As a tourist you don't just go there to rip off.

The seller gave too little change !!!!! Do not behave invitingly.

Nothing was done with the hygiene. As a customer, you don't need to give your address, and the tables and chairs have not been disinfected. But charge 0.40 cents more for pastries if they are eaten outside on the table. That's very sad. You can't recommend the store 😭😭😭

A very nice, cozy and really stylish coffee with very friendly staff. The prices are absolutely common and fully justified. Super tasty rolls and the cakes are great too. Although we arrived 3 minutes before closing time on Sundays, we were allowed to sit in the garden in peace. I took the trouble to read the bad (in my eyes unjustified) reviews. I don't know where some people come from who say the prices are too high. The prices are absolutely in the normal range for this service that is offered here. We would love to come back.

Pieces of cake quite small. Iced coffee for 6 € (!) Not accordingly. You can sit in, but too expensive for what you get.

The buns. the ones we bought there this Sunday were far below average for a bakery. In our opinion, you get better at some gas stations. Likewise the chocolate croissant. We actually planned to sit in the cafe once in a while - after the experience we didn't dare to do it and wondered how all the great reviews, which sounded like praise, came about. The next day we had rolls from a bakery in a local supermarket. Miles better, if not perfect.

There is decent coffee even in Germany, I never knew. The baked goods are excellent.

Incredibly friendly service. The chocolate croissants were recommended to us and indeed they taste excellent - we are particularly pleased that the chocolate portion was distributed throughout the baked goods and not just in one corner. Keep it up and greetings from Lake Constance.

Chocolate croissants are actually falling in love, assuming that the rest of the baked goods will be just as terrific.

We had breakfast twice and enjoyed our experience. Bread was fresh the Sandwiches were tasty and our children are already planning to eat here in the summer! Thank you for your warm hospitality!

With all due respect to the efforts, the owner has already stated in several answers to reviews, the prices for the offers in the cafe are already hearty (€ 3.80 for a piece of cake!). There is also no pricing in or on the cake counter. There was no cash receipt when payment, so that the individual prices only had to be inquired. At least that's not serious.

Nice and cozy, the white sausage is served original.

Baked goods and cakes of the finest quality. Our favorite: Semmelrose (versch.Brötchensorten in flower form) Whether for breakfast or coffee, the Alte Schule is our first choice. Also an alternative to the local Italian ice cream parlor. If you want you can also enjoy the lunch - which we have not used yet ... but that will surely come. In addition, an offer of regional delicacies and a boss with the certain charm. 😊

Such a great coffee & a delicious bakery! The completely renovated and modern and very comfortably furnished coffee seduces to sit down and enjoy. Super friendly owner advises and serves as you can wish! Keep it up, I'll be back!

The service was friendly and quick. Coffee and beer are delicious. The hamburger was also very good. Prices are fine too. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Would love to come back.
